This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Transformation PMO Lead based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to establish and lead a high-impact enterprise Project Management Office supporting large-scale transformation initiatives.
The position plays a key role in shaping governance models, execution frameworks, and operational disciplines that enable successful strategic delivery.
Working closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, the role transforms business priorities into structured roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong program leadership, business transformation expertise, and change management capabilities to drive organizational improvement.

- Establish, operationalize, and lead an enterprise PMO by defining governance structures, operating models, methodologies, standards, tools, reporting frameworks, KPIs, and delivery processes.
- Provide executive leadership across multiple transformation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes.
- Develop portfolio governance practices, including executive steering committees, project intake processes, prioritization frameworks, stage gates, decision rights, and operating rhythms.
- Lead enterprise process engineering and business optimization initiatives focused on improving efficiency, scalability, governance, customer experience, and overall performance.
- Drive complex cross-functional transformation initiatives involving business operations, ERP implementations, finance, customer service, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, asset management, and related functions.
- Design and execute organizational change strategies, including stakeholder engagement, executive communications, readiness assessments, training initiatives, adoption strategies, and change reinforcement.
- Build executive dashboards, portfolio reporting structures, financial tracking models, and transformation health metrics to provide visibility into progress and performance.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource allocation while implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, steering committee materials, and strategic communications for senior stakeholders.
- Institutionalize PMO best practices, templates, standards, and methodologies to create a scalable and sustainable enterprise capability.
- Develop and execute transition plans, including documentation, knowledge transfer, coaching, and operational readiness activities to enable long-term ownership of the PMO.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, MBA, or related advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, portfolio management, or PMO leadership roles overseeing complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience building and operationalizing enterprise PMOs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation programs involving multiple business units, executive stakeholders, and technology-enabled initiatives.
- Experience with Integration Management Offices (IMO), mergers and acquisitions, enterprise integrations, or similar strategic transformation environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in business process optimization, operational excellence, process engineering, and enterprise transformation.
- Proven organizational change management experience, including executive communications, stakeholder alignment, readiness planning, training, and user adoption.
- Exceptional executive presence with strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in highly visible environments with ambiguity, competing priorities, aggressive timelines, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience working within regulated or SOX-compliant environments is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with project and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planview, Monday.com, or similar tools.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Professional certifications in Prosci Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives within asset-intensive industries such as energy services, oil and gas, or industrial manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Competitive consulting compensation range of USD $130,000 to USD $160,000 annually.
