Join Knight Aerospace – Manufacturing Planner I
Knight Aerospace is looking for a Manufacturing Planner I to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
This role will support manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining manufacturing plans, BOMs, job instructions, work orders, and production documentation while collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Salary: $54,000 annually
Annual Bonus: 5% target
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Full-time, 100% on-site

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for serving as the bridge between engineering specifications and production execution. These will include translating complex engineering designs into actionable manufacturing instructions. The Manufacturing Planner will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded
Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain comprehensive job instructions within the company enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
2. Develop and maintain operation workflow sequencing of jobs
3. Develop a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) with precision and accuracy
4. Analyzing released BOMs to Production Control for stock verification
5. Provide updated BOMs to the Purchasing department
6. Ensure consistency and accuracy of all manufacturing documentation
7. Collaborate with Production Control to optimize manufacturing operation sequencing and requirements
8. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturing operations align with technical drawings

10. MS Project experience is required

12. Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and report information
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED (required)
2. An associate degree or higher, or an equivalent certification with relevant experience, is preferred
3. A background in manufacturing is highly valued
