Job Description
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for on a weekly basis;
- Certified payroll preparation
- Compliance in Certified Payroll
- Tax payment and reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
- AGC hours/Tracking

- High School Diploma required plus four or more years of related experience/training preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with payroll systems and related software programs.
- A minimum of 1 year of calculating changes to pay rates based on time off, overtime, etc.
- A minimum of 1 year of communicating with employees and answering questions to help them understand their paycheck and changes that may occur.
- Work experience in a construction work environment is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
- Ability to research & handle extremely confidential information in a professional & discretionary manner.
