Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Nurse Assistant

Summary:
Looking for a self-motivated and multitasking individual. Assist the provider as needed. This individual's primary role will be to transcribe notes as dictated by the physician in a patient's electronic medical record. This person will also be expected to act as a medical assistant during busy times.

Requirements:
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must be able to scribe within the EMR
Positive attitude
Team player
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Computer and phone skills
Must be willing to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Must be willing to obtain medical assistant registration/certification within one year of hire

Desired:
Two years medical assistant education or experience
Medical terminology

Job Duties:
Transcribes office/procedure notes as dictated by physician
Schedules appointments
Takes vitals on all patients as required
Obtains and updates all patient information as needed
Assists patients as necessary
Able to give injections and vaccinations to patients
Organizational skills and prioritizing a must along with a great job ethic
Must be willing to work in other areas as needed

*Starting Range: $15.80-$17.38
