SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department supervisor and nursing administration, registers inpatients, outpatients, and emergencyservices patients by recording medical, demographic, and financial information. Escorts and directs patients and family members to their destination.

EXPERIENCE: General office experience/education required. Computer experience required. Prior registration experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Typing / keyboarding skills required. Customer service skills required. Medical terminology preferred.

OTHER: Available to work within a 24-hour hospital setting. Required to work some holidays.

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent
