Job Title: Medical Records Clerk

Talantage, LLC is currently seeking a Full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team.

The Medical Records Clerk maintains offender health records, retrieves health records for scheduled appointments, files offender health data, initiates records for new or transferred intakes. They review health records for completeness, files records as required, prepare reports as needed and more. Day and evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or bachelor's degree
• Certification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not required
• Prior experience with medical records and services
• Completion of a medical terminology course preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
