HB NEXT is actively seeking a full-time Environmental Consultant / NPDES Inspector based in Charlotte, NC, to support our expanding operations in the region. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct stormwater and NPDES inspections on construction sites

Collaborate with site personnel to ensure compliance with environmental regulations

Document findings and provide recommendations using HB NEXT’s proprietary software

Travel to various job sites across the region

Requirements:

National or NC Erosion Certification (or equivalent), Charlotte-Mecklenburg certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days (training available through HB NEXT)

Prior construction or field inspection experience highly preferred

Reliable personal transportation

Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset

Benefits:

Salary: $35,000 – $42,000 (commensurate with experience)
