Unarmed Security Officer (Weekend 3rd Shift) in Charlotte, North Carolina at North State Security Group LLC

North State Security is seeking an unarmed security officer for third shift coverage on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in Charlotte, NC. The officer is expected to monitor client property and client activities during the overnight hours. All officers must remain alert and attentive and create a sense of security by staying vigilant and responsive to surroundings.

Schedule:
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:30 pm - 7:30 am (24 total hours)

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine checks as directed by client staff
- Use situational awareness to monitor activities throughout the property
- Maintain an authoritative presence by wearing the prescribed uniform in a neat, clean, and professional manner
- Conduct patrol tours of the interior and exterior of the facility
- Obtain statements, write reports, interview, observe and document information
- Engage verbally when needed to control and resolve conflicts

Qualifications:
- Previous security experience preferred
- Active PPSB unarmed license or ability to pass 16 hour unarmed security guard course
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License
