Summary

Yard Care Operator is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the yard. Must monitor for quality of the plant products. Involved in the coordination of the yard layout. Will be responsible for water and / or irrigating all plant products properly. Practice general yard maintenance.

Make sure all plants & trees are properly wateredLearn and operate irrigation systemLook for diseased or insect issuesMonitor on the ground plant quality and proceed accordinglyMaintain cleanliness of yardSafely load materials for customersLift and Bend frequentlyUse machinery when necessaryCommunicate with managementAssist other departments with product maintenance, and additional aspects of service, where possibleMaintain high inventory quality through daily culling activities

Key Qualifications

Plant identification and knowledge (preferred)Basic irrigation knowledge (preferred)Machinery knowledge (preferred)Able to lift 50 poundsBilingual preferred

Education & Experience

Plant Knowledge & experience in plant care preferred
