$31.44- $44.68 an hour - Per Diem Nights, Various shifts and hours per week.
*Range includes per diem and night shift differential. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an OB Tech who will assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of all indirect patient care activities.

Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
•BLS required within 3 months of hire.
•Surgical Technologist License or Surgical Assistant License required within 90 days of hire.
•If Surgical Technologist License or Surgical Assistant License not current at hire, CNA certification or equivalent certification/experience is required. Equivalent certifications/experience include: EMT, MA, Military Medic, 6 months OB Tech experience or completion of 1st year of nursing core classes (not prerequisites for nursing school).
Responsibilities
•Assesses requirements for indirect patient care activities and sets priorities for implementation.
•Demonstrates competence in performing aseptic and sterile technique procedures and identifies rationale underlying the skill.
•Under supervision of an RN – may collect data and provide care to patients in FAMILY BIRTH CENTER
•May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
•Demonstrates proper cleaning, restocking and setup of patient rooms, PACU or O.R.
•Demonstrates competence in clerical skills, assures proper charging of supplies and equipment.
•Maintains adequate levels of floor stock supplies and equipment.
•Assures proper stock levels are maintained in all patient care areas and supply carts.
•Demonstrates compliance to department, division and hospital policies, procedures and guidelines.
•Demonstrates proper cleaning and care of instruments and equipment.
