Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare invoices and perform job costing to ensure accurate project billing
2. Manage accounts receivables and collection procedures
3. Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments of invoices to maximize early payment discounts.
4. Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accurate job costing
5. Collaborate with project managers to provide requested information and support
Required Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of accounting experience
2. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (non-negotiable)
3. Experience with Chronicle software (or similar construction/CRM software)
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
6. Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the roofing, construction, or trades industry
2. Familiarity with job costing and project-based accounting
3. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
