Job OverviewInnovative Roofing Pros is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our growing commercial roofing company. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, payroll processing, and financial reporting while working closely with leadership and field operations. The ideal candidate brings strong construction accounting experience, exceptional attention to detail, and confidence working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and on schedule
- Prepare financial reports to support management decision-making
- Process weekly payroll for field crews, including timecard review and compliance
- Manage payroll taxes, filings, and related documentation
- Handle customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally
- Process and communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payments
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records within QuickBooks Online
- Support internal audits, year-end reporting, and bonus tracking
- Collaborate with leadership to improve accounting processes and controls
- Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as needed
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or contracting
- Bachelors degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
- QuickBooks Certification required (Online preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced skills are a plus
- Experience handling payroll, payroll taxes, and timekeeping systems
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- Professional communication skills for vendor and customer interactions
- Entry-level candidates will not be considered for this role
