In this role, you will be the primary architect of residential and commercial landscape excellence, leading your team to deliver high-quality maintenance services while ensuring peak productivity and safety. As a working field leader, you bridge the gap between supervisor direction and beautiful on-site results.
Your Daily Impact:
Crew Leadership: Direct daily activities, plan efficient routes, and coach crew members to meet performance standards and foster a culture of respect and accountability.
Maintenance Operations: Oversee and perform expert turf care (mowing, aeration, fertilization) and bed maintenance (pruning, weeding, mulching) to promote plant health and site longevity.
Equipment Stewardship: Safely operate and inspect maintenance equipment, utilizing systems like Asset Tiger to ensure tools are in top working condition.
Safety Advocacy: Enforce OH&S regulations and company policies, facilitating toolbox talks and completing required hazard assessments to ensure everyone returns home safe.
Winter Versatility: Transition to comprehensive snow and ice management from November through April, maintaining a flexible schedule to ensure client safety during Alberta’s winter months.
To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:
Knowledge: Strong horticultural knowledge, including turf care, plant identification, and OH&S legislation; familiarity with local pesticide and fertilizer regulations.
Skills: Expert operation of commercial landscape equipment; proficiency in mobile technology and job tracking systems like Aspire and SiteDocs.
Abilities: 2–3 years of landscape maintenance experience; valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License; physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather.
At Park, we don’t just hire—we plant the seeds for long-term success. If you’re looking for a workplace where your "Can-Do" attitude is rewarded with real opportunity, you’ve found it.
When you join our garden, you’re gaining:
Visible Career Paths: Clear milestones for advancement and raises.
Innovative Tools: Latest technology to make your job smoother, smarter, and safer.
Impactful Work: Pride in the physical transformation of our community.
A Culture of Respect: A high-trust environment where your voice is heard.
