Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fleet Mobility and Car Rental SaaS Account Executive based in the United States.
This is a high-impact enterprise sales role focused on expanding SaaS adoption across the car rental, mobility, fleet, and gig economy sectors.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through pilots, negotiations, and closed-won business.
The role combines consultative selling with technical and commercial expertise, engaging stakeholders across business, technology, security, legal, and compliance functions.
You will help organizations streamline insurance verification, reduce operational risk, improve onboarding, and create better customer experiences.
As part of a fully distributed team, you will have significant autonomy while working closely with customers, partners, and internal leadership.
The position is particularly suited to an early-stage GTM professional who thrives on building pipeline, navigating complex deals, and creating new opportunities.
You will also contribute to customer expansion, industry thought leadership, and the continued growth of a technology platform serving critical business needs.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting using phone, email, social media, industry networks, and other channels.
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with car rental companies, mobility providers, fleet operators, third-party verifiers, and gig economy businesses.
- Lead consultative discovery conversations that uncover customer needs, operational challenges, business priorities, and opportunities for technology-driven improvement.
- Guide prospects through complex sales cycles involving technical scoping, information security, legal reviews, regulatory requirements, pilots, and production implementation.
- Take hands-on ownership of customer pilots and proof-of-concept activities to maximize conversion into production contracts.
- Develop tailored pricing packages and work with leadership to secure appropriate commercial approvals.
- Prepare sales meeting strategies and materials, including agendas, scripts, presentations, demonstrations, and supporting documentation.
- Expand annual recurring revenue within existing accounts by understanding evolving customer needs and connecting them with current and future product capabilities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and support production project success to identify opportunities for retention and expansion.
- Communicate clearly and responsively with prospects and customers, particularly through high-quality written communication.
- Develop thought leadership content and industry perspectives that strengthen market presence and credibility.
- Represent the organization at relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build relationships with prospects and strategic partners.
- Proven quota-carrying sales experience selling SaaS software to companies in the car rental or mobility industry.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, consultative sales processes from initial discovery through contract close.
- Experience navigating enterprise sales involving technical scoping, information security, legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales methodologies and the ability to conduct discovery conversations that focus on customer problems and business outcomes rather than transactional selling.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to develop solutions and pricing approaches aligned with customer requirements.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting.
- Strong proficiency with CRM, lead-management, and other modern sales technology tools.
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in an early-stage or rapidly evolving environment.
- Strong customer orientation, persistence, ownership, and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of the car rental, mobility, fleet, or gig economy industries is a strong plus.
- Programming experience in any language and familiarity with SQL databases are additional advantages.
- Willingness to attend relevant trade shows and industry events as needed.
- Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada.
- Company-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents.
- Equity grants, providing employees with an ownership stake in the business.
- Unlimited paid time off to support rest and work-life balance.
- Fully distributed, remote-first work environment.
- $1,000 home-office stipend to create a comfortable and personalized remote workspace.
- Friday lunch reimbursement.
- 401(k) plan with a 3.5% company match.
- Opportunity to work in a high-growth SaaS environment serving the car rental, mobility, fleet, and gig economy markets.
- Significant autonomy and ownership across the enterprise sales cycle.
- Exposure to complex technical, commercial, and strategic customer engagements.
