The position combines relationship management, consultative selling, and data-driven planning to expand adoption of investment loan products. Working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment, you will be responsible for driving engagement, enabling advisor success, and supporting revenue growth across assigned markets. This is a highly collaborative role involving cross-functional coordination, strategic planning, and ongoing market education. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and growth of investment lending solutions within a defined territory while acting as a trusted advisor to financial professionals.
- Develop, manage, and grow relationships with financial advisors across mass market and affluent segments through regular outreach and strategic engagement
- Drive sales activity by conducting high-volume outbound calls, meetings, and virtual engagements to promote investment lending strategies and solutions
- Educate advisors on how leveraged investing and insurance-backed lending can support client acquisition and portfolio growth
- Use CRM tools (such as Salesforce) and data insights to identify opportunities, manage pipelines, and track performance against sales targets
- Support advisors in application processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution of lending transactions
- Build and execute territory business plans, including forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis aligned with revenue objectives
- Contribute to marketing initiatives such as webinars, campaigns, events, and advisor engagement programs to drive product awareness and adoption
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across wealth, insurance, and lending teams to optimize strategy and advisor experience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, banking, and internal policies including AML and KYC requirements
- Participate in training, mentoring initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across the sales organization
This position requires a strong mix of sales capability, financial knowledge, and relationship-building skills, ideally developed within banking, insurance, or wealth management environments.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition, with demonstrated ability to grow a customer base
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) is required or highly valued depending on market coverage
- Strong understanding of sales processes, territory management, and business planning
- Experience analyzing sales data, reports, and performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust with financial professionals
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and market information effectively
