Role Overview:
The Warehouse Associate – Putaway (Replenishment) adds value to our Customers and Co-Workers by being responsible for refilling storage locations safely, quickly and correctly so orders can be picked. This involves being a positive team member by paying attention to detail and accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all duties and responsibilities are completed as per Next’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Restocking: Meet daily productivity expectations by accurately counting and verifying products in assigned bin locations and refilling from overstock locations, ensuring the correct number and type of product is recorded for each bin according to order specifications using handheld scanners
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company policies and safety procedures; proactively address or report issues, clean as you go and ensure positive customer service for the next shift
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks as needed, by following all safety procedures
- Other Duties as Assigned: As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that aren’t listed above
Recommended Qualifications:
Knowledge/ Skill/ Ability Requirements:
- Basic math functions
- Basic English reading and writing skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Good English verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment by showing the character qualities listed above
Experience & Education:
- MHE Certification required or the ability to obtain within three months of employment. On-site training will be provided if required by the position
- Previous warehouse experience an asset
- High School or equivalent education
Physical Demands/ Working Conditions:
- This position involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Position requires the ability to follow repetitive processes
