FSM Group provides fueling services for aircraft and ground service equipment at airports throughout the United States. We are seeking a key position for a Safety Coordinator at our Atlanta airport location. FSM’s Safety Coordinator position will have day to day safety oversight of aircraft refueling at Atlanta International Airport. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be the gate keeper of making sure our employees follow health and safety regulations and supervising operations to promote the wellbeing of their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using safety research to create policies that eliminate workplace hazards,
- Documenting accidents in the workplace,
- Investigating the circumstances of an illness or injury.
- Conduct effective safety training, talks,
- Perform audits plus provide on-going observations to management to eliminate potential safety risks,
- Communicate "safety first" to our commercial fuelers with the appropriate approach,
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions excluding lightning
- Have to be able to lift 50lbs from ground to waist and 30 above your head
- You will be required to keep fuel spill carts fully stocked
- Responsible for cleaning up fuel spills
- Other duties as assigned.

Compensation
- $18.00 per hour
Shift:
- Thursday to Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
- Time: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Minimum Requirements
- Clear a pre-employment drug screening.
- Pass a federal fingerprint background check.
- Have proof of US work eligibility.
- Must be 21+.
- Have 3+ years’ U.S. driving experience,
- Hold a U.S. valid driver's license.
- Maintain a driving record meeting the Company’s commercial auto insurance standards (e.g. no Type A major violations).
- Possess and maintain any required identifications or certifications.
