Description:
The Behavioral Health work study student will assist with various tasks within the department such as assisting with planning/coordinating behavioral health related events, awareness campaigns, and more.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in planning/coordinating behavioral health related events, awareness campaigns, etc.
- Manage social media accounts to promote events and mental health resources.
- Provide administrative support, meeting minutes, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with campus departments and external organizations to enhance mental health programming.
- Assist in recruiting and engaging students in the organization’s initiatives.
- Help develop educational materials and outreach initiatives for students.
- Support fundraising for behavioral health student organization.
- Attend organization meetings and contribute to discussions on mental health advocacy.

Required Qualifications:
- Interest in behavioral health or related field.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Time management skills
- Experience with social media and graphic design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to promoting mental health awareness and student well-being
Employment will require a criminal background check at College expense. Preference is given to Missouri residents.
