SUMMARY
Perform planned and laid out work through the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.
Position molds for work. Repair defects as needed.
Design new molds and fixtures following directions and suggestions of the supervisor.
Investigate alterations to mold and fixture designs for improved performance and product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must be proficient with manual and/or CNC-controlled machining equipment. Must be proficient with all types of measuring equipment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondences and memos. Able to write simple correspondences. Ability to communicate effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform calculations such as percentages, proportions, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands, fingers, and arms. Employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to humid conditions and heat during summer working months. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
