HVAC Service Technician
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job description:
Overview: Total Air is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician toto join our team.
In this role, you will take on the important responsibility of expertly maintaining and repairing a variety of systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Your work will primarily take place in light commercial and residential environments. What You'll Do:
- Inspect and perform maintenance on existing HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall system performance
- Create accurate records of all work performed - Provide the best possible customer service and client experience
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Residential HVAC Technician
- Universally certified in refrigerant handling
- EPA Type II certification required
- Knowledge of residential and light-commercial HVAC
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus
- This position is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening. Are you willing to undergo a drug test as part of the hiring process?
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- EPA Universal Certification (Required)
