Position Summary


We are seeking a EHS Manager to join our team in the Medical division. This role will be responsible for ensuring the Attleboro, MA site is compliant with company policies and state & federal regulations and acts as the spokesperson for EHS related matters with governmental bodies. The EHS Manager is part of the onsite ENNOVI Etch Logic Management Team, and responsible for direct management of the Wastewater Operators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site EHS compliance with all company policies and state & federalregulations and act as spokesperson forEHS-relatedmatters withgovernmental bodies.
  • Responsible forsubmittingaccurateandtimelyreports to meet all companyand governmental reporting requirements.
  • Responsible formaintainingand improving the RMP/PSM and ISO14001systems.
  • Lead site to ensure effective execution of EHS management procedures,training, audits/inspections, projects, legal permits, agencycommunicationand corporate reporting.
  • Provide recommendations to site management on changes to improvecurrent programs, policies, personnel, and/or measurements.
  • Oversee all EHS projects from concept toinceptionand through toexecution of the project plan.
  • Proactivelyidentify, plan,and develop solutions to EHS issues andestablishimprovement strategies for both short and long-term goals.
  • Communicate goals to site personnel and provide feedback onperformance. When performance is not meeting goals, investigatetherootcause and implement corrective action(s).
  • Continually develop EHS knowledge and competency byparticipatinginstate and federal level EHS activities such as webinars, training events,and national emphasis programs.
  • Lead the monthly safety committee meetings and record / publish meetingminutes.
  • Proactivelyidentify, plan,and develop solutions to EHS issues andestablishimprovement strategies for both short and long-term goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement effortspertaining toEnvironmental, Healthand Safety.
  • Follow Company Policies and Procedures as defined in theInterplexEmployee Manual.
  • Be theSite Emergency Response Coordinatorand Site Security Administrator
  • Supervise direct reports in the Wastewater department, including providing coverage as needed due to Vacations, callouts, etc.
  • Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance.
  • Any other duties as required by Management and Corporate.

Wastewater Responsibilities:

  • Ensureaccuraterecord keeping andsubmitappropriate reportsas needed to remain in compliance with local, State, and Federal requirements.
  • Supervise direct reports in the Wastewater Department and provide coverage as needed due to Vacation requests,call-outs, etc. This includes nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ensureappropriate staffinglevels in the department
  • Maintain proper operation oftheReverse OSMOSIS unit & DI polishing units.
  • Maintain proper storage of hazardous waste, including daily and weekly hazardous wasteinspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering fields (or relevant experience).
  • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)required.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal EHS regulations and experience workingwith regulations.
  • Knowledge of industry, OSHA regulations, ISO 14001requirementsandContinuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Must havegood communicationskills, both oral and written.
  • Must have good organizational and prioritization skills with the ability tomulti-task.
  • Must have good Initiative with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and interactwith all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability tointerface withothers, deal with difficult issues tactfully andprofessionally and build strong working relationships.
  • Should have intermediate computer skills and knowledge of MicrosoftWord, & Excel.
