Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage & Commercial Lending Support Specialist to assist in managing a diverse pipeline of residential, business, and commercial lending transactions.

This role will support a broker working across:

• Residential home lending
• Commercial property finance
• Business and start-up lending (including financials and cash flow forecasting)

The successful candidate will contribute directly to deal execution, financial analysis, and process efficiency, supporting more complex lending scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Support both residential and commercial loan applications end-to-end

Assist with:

• Commercial loan preparation and structuring support
• Review of financial documents (company financials, BAS, cash flow forecasts)
• Business loan documentation and submission packs

Work across:

• Asset finance transactions
• Self-employed borrower scenarios
• Combined residential and commercial applications
• Prepare lender-ready submission documents and supporting summaries
• Identify gaps or risks in deal structures and escalate appropriately
• Maintain accurate and well-structured client and deal records
• Assist in improving internal workflows and file management systems

Key Requirements:

• 3–7+ yrs experience in mortgage broking support
• Strong experience in Australian residential lending
• Demonstrated exposure to: Commercial lending, business lending, or asset finance
• Ability to interpret: Financial statements, Income structures for self-employed borrowers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and ownership
• Direct experience supporting Australian commercial brokers or lenders preferred
• Exposure to SME or business lending environments preferred
• Experience working across multi-product lending scenarios preferred
