Position SummaryFeeser’s is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the development, execution, and measurement of company-wide marketing initiatives that drive sales growth and strengthen our brand presence. This role is responsible for creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, print advertising, events, promotions, and supplier-funded marketing programs.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven marketing professional with strong leadership skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to leverage data and insights to drive business outcomes. This individual will collaborate closely with Sales, Purchasing, Merchandising, suppliers, brokers, and customers to ensure marketing efforts support company goals and deliver measurable results.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Execution- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives and sales goals.
- Lead the planning, direction, and implementation of all marketing programs, campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.
- Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, print marketing, SEO, and content marketing.
- Produce engaging content for the company website, blog, and other marketing platforms to attract and convert target audiences.
- Analyze consumer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee company sales and marketing events, including:
- Food shows and mini-shows
- Customer and industry events
- Sales meetings
- Promotional campaigns and special programs
- Ensure successful event execution while maximizing customer engagement and return on investment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, brokers, customers, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Merchandising teams to align product strategies with growth objectives.
- Manage and promote vendor rebate programs, marketing allowances, and supplier-funded initiatives.
- Administer and monitor marketing contracts and resolve issues as needed.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget and associated profit-and-loss expectations.
- Monitor quarterly and annual marketing expenditures and allocate resources effectively.
- Measure and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate vendor programs and marketing initiatives to ensure profitability and effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain marketing team members.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the marketing department.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and support business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of marketing experience with a demonstrated history of developing and executing successful marketing programs.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring campaign performance.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO, and content development.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in the foodservice distribution industry or related B2B industries.
- Experience managing vendor-funded marketing programs, trade marketing initiatives, and supplier partnerships.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and other marketing measurement platforms.
