Job Description
The Dish & Linen Associate is responsible for the cleaning, care, preparation, organization, and handling of dishware, tabletop items, and linen inventory used in the Company’s full-service event rental operations. This position plays an essential role in ensuring all products meet Company quality and presentation standards before and after client use.
The Dish & Linen Associate processes a variety of rental items, including plates, cups, silverware, glassware, tablecloths, napkins, runners, chair covers, and other related tabletop and event textiles. Associates are responsible for thoroughly cleaning, sorting, inspecting, and preparing items for events, ensuring they are free of stains, damage, debris, and other defects.
Responsibilities include accurately picking, pulling, counting, staging, and putting away dish and linen inventory according to event orders and established procedures. Associates perform quality checks to verify product condition and quantities, while maintaining organized inventory and minimizing loss or breakage.
The Dish & Linen Associate must work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet production and event deadlines while maintaining a high level of cleanliness, accuracy, and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to follow written instructions, order sheets, and inventory documentation and to work collaboratively with team members to ensure client orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean, process, inspect, and prepare dishware, glassware, silverware, linens, and related rental items.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, defects, and overall quality to ensure they are event-ready.
- Pick, pull, count, stage, and organize inventory according to event orders.
- Accurately verify quantities and product selections prior to staging or loading.
- Properly fold, organize, and store linen inventory.
- Sort and package dishware and tabletop items to prevent damage and breakage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area.
- Follow order documentation, written instructions, and inventory procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report damaged, missing, or unusable items.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and operational deadlines.
- Collaborate with warehouse and event operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to safely use ladders and warehouse equipment as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and laundry environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements throughout scheduled shifts. Associates must be able to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. The work environment may include exposure to heat, humidity, cleaning chemicals, laundry equipment, and warehouse conditions typical of event rental operations.
