Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Optometric Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in helping patients select eyewear, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with frame selection to ensure the perfect fit, style, and comfort.
• File insurance claims for exams and glasses and verify benefits for patients.
• Inspect and check in eyewear jobs before they are dispensed to patients.
• Answer phones professionally and assist patients with inquiries or scheduling.
• Schedule appointments for exams, fittings, and follow-ups.
• Order contact lenses for patients and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist other staff members with tasks to maintain the flow and efficiency of the office.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment, including the optical sales area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in optical sales, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with insurance filing and claims (preferred, but training is available).
• Basic computer skills and comfort with scheduling software.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
