Marketing Manager in Chatfield, Minnesota at Tuohy Furniture Corporation

The Tuohy Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive marketing initiatives in support of Tuohy, a Haworth brand. This role partners closely with Tuohy leadership, product development, sales, and external creative partners to drive product marketing, digital presence, showrooms, events, advertising, photography, and content creation. The position plays a critical role in shaping Tuohy’s brand presence in the market and ensuring consistent, high-quality marketing across all channels. This position reports to the VP of Sales and is a Department of One.

With the right applicant this can be either full time or part time position.

This position would likely start sometime after November 1st, 2026.

Product & Brand Marketing

• Lead product marketing efforts, including product launches, positioning, naming, and messaging.
• Support New Product Development and annual product planning in collaboration with Product Development team and leadership.
• Develop statement of line, material options, and product-related content for marketing and sales.
• Submit products for industry awards (e.g., Best of NeoCon, Metropolis Likes), including writing submissions and coordinating imagery or renderings.

Showrooms, Events & Trade Shows

• Lead marketing strategy and execution for NeoCon, including showroom planning, product selection, marketing materials, invitations, events, and onsite photo and video shoots.
• Assemble and coordinate creative teams (designers, stylists, photographers, videographers) for NeoCon and showroom photoshoots.
• Support showroom design, marketing materials, and hospitality events for key locations including Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC.
• Partner with designers and internal teams to ensure material palettes and showroom aesthetics align with brand goals.

Digital Marketing & Website

• Manage website content, including taxonomy, imagery, renderings, and product collateral.
• Coordinate with external digital partners to ensure timely updates and high-quality execution.
• Ensure product photography, renderings, and technical information are created and uploaded.
• Evolve digital content to include CAD drawings, dimensions, materials, and finish information.

Advertising & Promotions

• Develop and manage the annual advertising strategy and budget in collaboration with leadership.
• Partner with external advertising platforms to execute print, social, and digital campaigns.
• Lead development of visual advertising assets (photo and video).
• Monitor performance and adjust targeting, messaging, and media plans as needed.

Photography, Video & Renderings

• Plan and lead photoshoots across showrooms, studios, and customer installations.
• Manage photographers, stylists, video teams, and rendering partners.
• Develop shot lists, coordinate logistics, and oversee post-production and image retouching.
• Maintain organized access to final assets for internal teams and partners.
• Support creation of product videos and short form clips for web and digital use.

Social Media & Content Development

• Develop and manage a consistent, strategic social media approach for Tuohy.
• Create or source content aligned with product launches, events, showrooms, and brand storytelling.
• Coordinate with Tuohy partners to ensure messaging and cadence support business objectives.

Strategy, Sales Enablement & Training

• Lead marketing-related content for sales training and onboarding.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to stay aligned with opportunities, bids, and priorities.
• Partner closely with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business needs.
• Lead bi-weekly marketing meetings and contribute to annual marketing strategy and budget planning.
• Partner with Tuohy leadership to set priorities and long-range marketing plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Design, or a related field.
• 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in commercial interiors, design, or related industries.
• Proven experience with product marketing, integrated campaigns, and brand strategy; leading end-to-end marketing initiatives across multiple channels with performance tracking.
• Ability to provide creative direction and product styling for a cohesive visual brand identity.
• Strong project management skills with ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Experience working with creative teams, agencies, photographers, and digital partners; understanding of photoshoot and video planning, production, and delivery.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with social media platforms, website content management systems, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital advertising.
• Experience with showroom marketing, trade shows, or experiential marketing.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Understanding of rendering workflows.
