The Role
You’ll lead business development across Southern Minnesota — uncovering new opportunities, managing accounts, and guiding projects from concept through delivery.
This is a hands-on, consultative sales role where you’ll help metal fabricators and manufacturers find smarter, more efficient ways to build their business.
In this role, you will:
- Own and grow your territory — building lasting customer partnerships
- Drive sales of capital equipment through solution-based, consultative selling
- Manage deals from first contact through installation
- Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Represent On Point Solutions and our partners with professionalism and integrity
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience (capital equipment, industrial, or manufacturing tech preferred)
- Proven ability to manage a sales territory and hit revenue goals
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter mindset — motivated by results and personal accountability
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to travel within territory (up to 75%)
Additional Info
- Must have a valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift and transport small equipment (up to 40 lbs)
- Role requires occasional overnight travel, trade shows, and customer site visits
