Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Practitioner in Tampa, Florida at Cogent Security LLC

Cogent Security is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals who can offer valuable knowledge, skills, and experience to our Tampa, FL-based customer. The work experience is rewarding, given the immediate impacts on national security and the accomplishment of the customer's continuous real-world mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform advice and assistance
• Executive travel support
• Penetration investigations
• In-conference monitoring
• Technical threat briefs
• Countermeasures recommendations

Qualifications:

• Must have a current DoD active TOP SECRET clearance w/ SCI Eligibility.
• Graduate of the TSSC Fundamentals Course, Inter-Agency Training Center (ITC), Fort Washington, MD.
• Must understand and be well-versed in the application of DoD TSSC policies and procedures.
• 6+ years TSSC experience performing each of the following: Advice & Assistance, Executive Travel Support, Penetration Investigations, In-Conference Monitoring, Technical Threat Briefs, and countermeasures recommendations.
• Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.

Physical Requirements:

• Must possess bearing 30 decibels or better in both ears in the 500, l 000, and 2000 Hz ranges.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20, distant and near, through normal vision or corrective measures.
• Must possess normal color vision.
• Must possess dexterity in all extremities.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds and carry for fifty feet.
• Must be able to climb a six-foot ladder.
• Must be able to crawl beneath a three-foot barrier. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

The employee may be required to move ten pounds and could occasionally lift or move up to seventy-five pounds.
