The Strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and driving strategic growth initiatives within an assigned region. This position requires a consultative sales approach, strong technical understanding, and the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase demand for integrated security products and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, engineers, end users, and strategic partners.
- Identify, qualify, and develop project-based opportunities within targeted markets.
- Support representation in requests for proposals (RFPs) by developing effective business strategies and customer engagement plans.
- Present solutions to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive-level stakeholders.
- Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through completion while ensuring customer requirements are addressed.
- Drive strategic cross-selling initiatives across a broad security solutions portfolio.
- Develop opportunities within key vertical markets, including critical infrastructure, healthcare, and higher education.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams, product management, and engineering groups to align solutions with customer needs.
- Work with industry organizations and associations to increase market visibility and strengthen relationships.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to support product improvements and future development.
The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic sales professional with a strong background in integrated security technologies and enterprise solution selling. Success in this role requires technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence complex buying decisions.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience selling and/or installing high-quality integrated access control and video management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
- Strong knowledge of the regional market and established relationships with consultants and industry stakeholders.
- Proven experience in business development, strategic account management, and consultative sales.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of customer business needs and ability to position solutions effectively.
- Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and represent advanced security technologies.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple strategic opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Competitive salary range of $89,500 - $136,200 annually, based on experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications.
