Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential.
- Experience or training specific to ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a scrub tech in an ophthalmology or eye surgery setting.
- Advanced certifications related to surgical technology or ophthalmic procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in surgical environments.
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure all surgical instruments are properly sterilized, inspected, and accounted for before and after each procedure.

- Participate in the cleaning and restocking of the operating room to prepare for subsequent surgeries.
