Imperial Golf Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Seasonal Host/Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. This position serves as the first point of contact for members and their guests, creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.

• Warmly greet and welcome club members and their guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.

• Manage dining reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure an organized and efficient dining experience.

• Escort members and guests to their tables, present menus, and communicate relevant dining information.

• Build positive relationships with members by learning their names, preferences, and special requests.

• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally, assist with reservations, and direct inquiries as appropriate.

• Coordinate with servers, management, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining operations and timely service.

• Assist with dining room preparation, including checking table arrangements, cleanliness, and overall presentation.

• Communicate reservation changes, special requests, and member concerns to the appropriate team members.

• Provide accurate information regarding dining services, club activities, and upcoming events.

• Maintain awareness of club policies, dress codes, and service standards.

• Address member and guest questions or concerns courteously and professionally, seeking management assistance when necessary.

• Assist with special events, private functions, and other Food & Beverage activities as needed.

• Perform opening, closing, and general housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to established grooming and uniform standards.

• Follow all applicable health, safety, and emergency procedures.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to provide attentive, personalized service in a private club environment.

• Basic computer skills; experience with dining reservation systems preferred.

• Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant hosting, or customer service preferred.

• Experience in a private club, country club, resort, or upscale dining establishment is a plus.

• Familiarity with reservation and seating management systems is desirable.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the scheduled shift.

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform routine physical activities associated with restaurant operations.

• Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and coworkers in an active dining environment.

• Ability to visually assess dining room arrangements, cleanliness, and presentation.

• Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise levels.

This is a seasonal position supporting the Club's busy dining season. Candidates must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Hours and schedules may vary depending on member dining activity, special events, and operational requirements.
