The Strategic Sales Executive will drive growth by helping healthcare organizations improve clinical, operational, and financial performance through cloud-based software and AI-powered solutions.
This is a consultative, enterprise-focused sales role working with physician groups, specialty practices, practice management organizations, and healthcare executives.
You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, uncover complex business challenges, and develop tailored technology strategies tied to measurable outcomes.
The role spans the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through demonstrations, negotiation, contracting, and close.
You will position solutions across EHR, practice management, revenue cycle management, analytics, interoperability, automation, and AI.
Success requires strong enterprise SaaS expertise, healthcare industry knowledge, executive presence, and the ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder buying environments.

- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with physicians, practice administrators, healthcare executives, and operational leaders.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to identify clinical, financial, operational, and technical challenges and uncover opportunities for transformation.
- Develop customized solution strategies that connect technology capabilities to customer objectives, ROI, workflow improvements, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Lead compelling software demonstrations and executive presentations tailored to different stakeholder priorities and levels of technical expertise.
- Own the complete enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution development, negotiation, contracting, and closing.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue, pipeline, and strategic growth targets across targeted healthcare accounts.
- Develop strong expertise across EHR/EMR, practice management, revenue cycle management, business intelligence, interoperability, cloud software, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Clearly communicate the value of AI-powered workflows, predictive analytics, automation, and healthcare interoperability to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with Sales Engineering, Product, Implementation, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership teams to address complex requirements and ensure strong solution alignment.
- Support technical conversations involving APIs, FHIR integrations, cloud architecture, CRM systems, and third-party healthcare technologies when relevant.
- Stay current on healthcare workflows, regulatory developments, reimbursement models, technology trends, and emerging AI capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation, purchasing, and transition process, helping customers understand both immediate and long-term value.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, strategic partnerships, and additional technology adoption.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product strategy, messaging, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Represent the organization at healthcare industry conferences, webinars, executive briefings, and customer events.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to strengthen market positioning and accelerate strategic growth.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, forecasting, and customer information within CRM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of successful consultative B2B software sales experience, preferably within enterprise SaaS or healthcare technology.
- Proven experience selling EHR/EMR, practice management, revenue cycle management, healthcare IT, AI, cloud software, or other complex enterprise technology solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of consultative and value-based selling, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and executive engagement.
- Excellent executive-level presentation, communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Working knowledge of healthcare workflows, interoperability concepts such as APIs and FHIR, AI technologies, automation, and cloud-based software.
- Ability to discuss technical solutions and translate complex technology concepts into clear business value for prospective customers.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulatory considerations, and evolving technology needs.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, strategic, and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment.
- Strong customer orientation with a demonstrated commitment to building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to identify expansion opportunities and contribute meaningful market and customer insights to product and go-to-market strategy.
- Experience working with U.S. and/or international healthcare customers is advantageous.
- Availability to work during standard U.S. business hours, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM EST.
