Assistant Project Manager (On-Site) at AUI Partners – East Texas, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Assistant Project Manager to join our Renewable Energy team. This position works closely with the operations team to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and on budget. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is working towards becoming a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project Manager to manage overall project performance (quality, scope, schedule, cost, communication, resource issues, risks, and customer satisfaction, utilizing the resources of team members
2. Provide general support in digital file management
3. Ensure timely collection of supporting documents from subcontractors
4. Assist with managing project required construction permits
5. Update project management software with appropriate status changes
6. Assist with allocating budget, costs to date, forecasts cost to completion, procurement, and materials management
7. Develop Contracts and Change orders
8. Manage purchases of project related materials and equipment
9. Maintains a full understanding of all contractual obligations for the project and documentation of variances
10. Ensures that the overall terms and obligations of the prime contract are passed on to the subcontract
11. Manages daily tracking of work completed and decision making for actions required to meet the project schedule
12. Directs, guides, and coaches Project Engineers to ensure activities on site are understood and followed
13. Travel to project sites to compare progress to schedule, compare actual versus estimated cost, check compliance with plans and specifications, review any problems, and verify the quality of work being performed meets contract specifications and AUI guidelines.
14. Please note the location of this position is 100% onsite with eligibility for a rotation schedule.

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction
2. Renewable Energy (preferably solar farms/BESS) experience preferred
3. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
4. Proficient in Microsoft Applications
5. Viewpoint experience preferred
6. ProjectSight experience preferred
7. Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
8. Excellent communication skills written and verbal
9. Highly dependable and self-motivated
10. Not afraid to bring solutions to the table
