About This Position

Description:

Momentus is building an AI-powered sales product purpose-built for the venue and event management industry. Venue sales teams today spend too much time on manual work and not enough time on strategic selling. We are changing that by applying AI where it genuinely improves outcomes for sales reps, sales managers, and the executives who oversee them.

We are looking for a Product Manager to own this product. You will be responsible for understanding the problem space deeply, deciding what gets built and why, and executing across the full product development lifecycle. The work spans the entire sales workflow, from how leads enter the system through how revenue is forecasted and reported.

This is a massive opportunity for an ambitious product manager looking to lead a well-resourced initiative being built quickly with executive sponsorship and active engagement from our most strategic customers. You will also navigate the reality that Momentus serves customers with decades of investment in the platform, which means building for the future while respecting the complexity of the present.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Product: Drive the full product development lifecycle for AI-powered sales capabilities, from discovery through launch. You own the roadmap, the requirements, and the outcomes.
  • Decide Where AI Adds Value: Not every problem is best solved by AI. You will make the judgment calls on when to use intelligent automation, when to rely on deterministic logic, and when the answer is better UX. You are expected to think critically about what AI should and should not do.
  • Go Deep on Customer Evidence: Conduct ongoing discovery with venue sales teams, sales managers, and financial leadership. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into prioritized product decisions grounded in evidence, not assumptions.
  • Define Outcomes, Not Just Features: Articulate measurable business and customer outcomes for every initiative. You are accountable for whether what you build actually makes customers better at their jobs.
  • Think About How AI Learns: Design products with an awareness of feedback loops: how the system improves over time, how quality is evaluated, and how user behavior informs future capabilities.
  • Educate the Market: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure go-to-market teams can articulate the value of new capabilities. Provide product and market context to inform commercial strategy.
  • Execute at Pace: Operate in a fast-moving environment alongside Engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams. Translate strategy into detailed requirements, move quickly, and course-correct based on data.
Requirements:
  • Product Management Experience: 3+ years in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS. You have owned products from discovery through launch and can point to outcomes you drove.
  • CRM or Sales Domain Familiarity: Experience building or working closely with CRM, sales automation, or revenue management products. You understand sales workflows, pipeline operations, and the reality of how sales teams work day-to-day. Venue or event industry experience is a strong plus but not required.
  • AI Product Judgment: A working understanding of what AI can and cannot do. You have opinions on when AI is the right tool versus when simpler approaches work better. You think about trust, human-in-the-loop design, and how to evaluate whether AI-powered features are actually delivering results.
  • Evidence-Driven Decision Making: You ground decisions in customer research, usage data, and competitive awareness. You define success criteria before you define solutions.
  • Strategic and Tactical Range: You can build a business case for leadership and write detailed acceptance criteria for an engineering team in the same week.
  • Comfort With Complexity: You are energized, not overwhelmed, by the challenge of building a modern product on top of a platform with deep customer history and real-world constraints.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills. You can present to customers, facilitate discovery, and produce clear documentation that drives execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the venue, event management, or hospitality industry.
  • Experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) and Pendo.
  • Familiarity with JTBD or similar outcome-driven frameworks.
  • Experience defining requirements for AI-powered features or working with AI/ML teams.
  • Prior involvement in design partner programs or structured voice-of-customer initiatives.
