NURSING SECRETARY

Job Description:

Assures quality care by providing secretarial assistance to the nursing department.

Provides supplies and equipment and maintenance of records related to supplies.

Assists with entering MDS’s quarterlies, and care plans into computer.

Completes CNA’s work schedule and assures adequate coverage.

Stocks lab office and each nurse’s station with supplies.

Performs employee drug screening.

Monitors daily lab reports.

Helps with restorative nursing as needed.

Assists with activities as needed.

Job Requirements:

High school graduate.

Some clerical/computer knowledge.

Willing to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.

Ability to work and cooperate with other employees.

Kind and respectful to patients, staff, and visitors.

Valid NC drivers’ license.

Prefer C.N.A. certification.
