About This Position
The Role: Senior Financial Analyst

You are an experienced finance professional with a history of several years of financial analysis or FP&A supporting operations, finance, and organizational goals through effective reporting and analysis including process improvements. You will play a key role in supporting leadership in operational decision-making through financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. This position is responsible for providing insights into operational metrics, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering actionable recommendations to leadership. This role requires strong budgeting and forecasting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
- Collaborate with the executive team and department leaders to develop and manage their annual budget and company’s annual budget to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Utilize financial modeling and forecasting to support decision-making in operations.
- Monitor and analyze financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers of variances and proposing corrective actions with department leaders.
- Partner with the finance and accounting team to conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer, and/or business unit.
- Utilize queries to evaluate and analyze data not limited to cost analysis, forecasting, and analysis of other metrics as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy, leveraging technology to automate accounting and reporting functions where possible.
- Lead or assist with special projects, such as system implementations, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, MBA preferred
- 5-8+ years of progressive financial analysis and reporting
- Experience with variance analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of multi-entity or multi-currency accounting is a plus
- Acquisition experience is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Experience in dynamic, high-paced environments such as private equity backed companies and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
