About This Position
Rausch Sturm LLP is looking for an experienced Legal Operations Specialist, to prepare audit deliverables and mitigate remediations related to Legal Operations, as well as manage internal exception reports in relation to Litigation. The Legal Operations Specialist II will play an integral role in helping to prevent audit findings, managing exception reporting, and preparing internal and external audit deliverables. This person will be responsible for ensuring all audit deliverables are completed timely and accurately. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to court follow-up, document production, and any other Legal Operations processes or procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for External and Internal Audit related deliverables. Perform monthly audits on Legal Operations staff to ensure Client adherence.Collaborate with the Compliance Department to ensure that Client audits do not have “repeat” findings.Prepare and process litigation documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with jurisdictional and client requirements.Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to court follow-up, document production, and any other Legal Operations processes or procedures.Partner with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Operations, and Client services to ensure legal processes align with regulatory and client expectations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in legal operations tools and platforms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Outlook.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.High accuracy in proofreading, data analysis, and document preparation.Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across departments, and meet deadlines.Ability to resolve issues quickly and adapt to new technologies or workflows.
Education and Experience:
Highschool diploma required; college coursework preferred.5+ years of experience in legal operations, law firm administration, or related field.Experience in legal documentation processes preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Frequently required to talk or hear, and use hand to type, handle, or touch objects.Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds at times. Must be able to navigate office departments and perform basic physical tasks.
Work Environment:
The position is primarily a hybrid position with the potential for a remote work arrangement.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, flexible hours available between 7am-5pm
