About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while ensuring quality delivery across software projects. In this role, you will gather and analyze requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, support project planning, and assist development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This position combines business analysis, agile project coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring that products are built according to business requirements and delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, communicates clearly with cross-functional teams, and is passionate about improving processes and delivering high-quality software solutions.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Create, manage, and maintain user stories in JIRA, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and aligned with project goals.
  • Support project planning activities, including the creation and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and task assignments.
  • Work with development teams to identify, track, and manage tasks and dependencies, helping break down large initiatives into manageable deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring developers have the clarity needed to implement solutions successfully.
  • Assist with quality assurance and testing, including defining test cases, validating features, and identifying issues or defects.
  • Provide regular project status updates, communicating progress, risks, and milestones to key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear communication across teams and help coordinate meetings, presentations, and project discussions.
  • Document meeting notes, action items, and decisions, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, technical documentation, user stories, test plans, and project artifacts.

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role in a software or technical environment.
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and user story creation.
  • Proficiency working with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, tools, and delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, QA testing, and defect management.
  • Experience working in a QA or testing environment, collaborating with QA teams and supporting validation of product requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Nice if you have:

  • Experience with collaboration and project tools such as Confluence, Trello, or Asana.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (such as AEM), system integration testing, or software architecture concepts.
