Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses

- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist

- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the physical therapist

- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to support ongoing recovery

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

- Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety

Skills and Qualifications:

- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri

- Proven experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
