About This Position
Position Summary - THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE FOR 12-18 MONTHS
The Recruiter is a professional talent acquisition role within the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment across one or more functional areas, supporting hiring needs from entry-level through senior management roles. The Recruiter utilizes creative and strategic sourcing methods to attract, engage, and hire top-performing candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job requisitions, and provide guidance on effective interview and candidate evaluation techniques.
- Review and refine job descriptions to ensure accurate, compelling, and effective job postings across appropriate platforms and niche sites.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates using tools such as job boards, social media, networking, referrals, databases, and market research.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, including staffing agencies.
- Conduct intake meetings and provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress and market insights.
- Screen candidates to assess qualifications, experience, availability, compensation expectations, relocation needs, and work authorization status.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, cultural fit, and long-term potential.
- Facilitate and manage the full interview process, including scheduling, coordination, and feedback collection.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Administer assessments, conduct reference checks, and coordinate background and pre-employment screenings as required.
- Manage offer processes, including salary negotiations and offer presentation.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and adjust sourcing strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of assigned business units to effectively support hiring needs and workforce planning.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with staffing agencies, including temporary staffing needs and contract negotiations.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Ensure completion, distribution, and collection of all required employment documentation.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.

Requirements:Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment.
- Strong prospecting and networking skills, particularly through online and social media platforms.
- Proven ability to source diverse candidates at all levels using a variety of methods, including job boards, niche sites, career fairs, professional associations, networking, and strategic advertising.
- Experience with Paylocity a plus.
