The Division of Neonatology atthe University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, isseeking a full time Neonatologist. This position is Open rank and Open Track. Salaryand track will be commensurate with training andexperience. This full-time positionoffers a competitive salary and a rich retirement benefit program.
The Division of Neonatology provides patient care in aculturally diverse, family-centered 52 bed Level IV NICU in a beautifulChildren's Hospital. The night coverage is provided by an in-house NNP/PA teamand neonatal fellows, with close supervision by the attending neonatologist.The Division is the only Level IV NICU in the State of New Mexico, with one ofthe largest Hispanic and Native American populations in North America. As thepremier medical center in the state, we offer a full-service NICU facility, anECMO program, a high-risk perinatal unit, air and ground transport team thatservices the entire state, a fully accredited fellowship program, and asophisticated developmental care follow-up program. UNM School of Medicine is anationally recognized leader in medical education and a major center for healthcare and research.

- Board certified / Board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by time of hire.
- Able to obtain medical licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
- Experience with QI projects.
PreferredQualifications:
- Record of teaching experience (fellows, house staff, and medical students).
- Minimum of 3-5 years working as a neonatologist.
- A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
