Maintenance Worker at Catholic Charities – Alton, Illinois

Full time position available. High school diploma required. Must have clean driving record & be able to pass all background checks by facility or licensing agencies. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without difficulty or assistance. Must be able to perform assigned maintenance tasks generated through daily work order requests, specific preventive maintenance requirements, capital improvement projects & emergency repairs. Maintenance experience is welcomed but not required. On-site training is provided as well as off-site field specific training geared towards the technical skills needed to meet a wide variety of basic maintenance tasks. Some over-time and on-call work required. Reliability, the motivation to learn and high work ethic are the pre-requisites for this position.
