We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role requires a strong balance of operational expertise, tenant relationship management, and financial oversight, with a focus on delivering excellent resident experiences and maximizing property performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of assigned multifamily communities, ensuring smooth and efficient management.

  • Coordinate all aspects of tenant move-ins and move-outs, including inspections, maintenance, vendor scheduling, key management, and security deposit processing.

  • Foster positive resident relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Develop, manage, and monitor operating budgets, ensuring alignment with ownership goals and financial targets.

  • Partner with Leasing and Marketing teams to host marketing events.

  • Prepare and deliver regular client reports (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).

  • Conduct routine property inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall condition within budget guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations, including Fair Housing laws.

  • Identify recurring resident concerns and implement solutions to improve safety, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including bidding, contracting, and overseeing projects to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Utilize property management software (AppFolio) to manage resident data, maintenance requests, contracts, and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.

  • At least 2 years of property management or related experience.

  • Solid understanding of the Fair Housing Act and applicable local regulations.

  • Proficiency with property management systems (AppFolio preferred) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize independently.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between properties.
