Position Summary:The Associate Commission Analyst assists in the calculation of the company’s variable compensation plans for the Sales organization, including setting up plans in our commissions tool, Xactly, as well as ensuring that commissions are properly calculated, accounted for, and timely paid.
**Must be local to our US MN Minneapolis Office


Essential Responsibilities / Duties

  • Calculate, monitor, and analyze lift adjustments, which are adjustments to determine the amount of incremental revenue generated

  • Assist in the calculation of all commission compensation according to documented commission plans and ensure compensation is properly calculated and paid in the appropriate timeframe

  • Perform monthly accounting reconciliations on a timely basis

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the source data (Salesforce) and calculate necessary adjustments to source data to ensure accurate commissionable amounts

  • Partner with the Commissions team and Sales organization to ensure an understanding of the calculation and a proper interpretation of the sales plan

  • Assist in research and resolution of all commission compensation issues in a timely and accurate manner

  • Calculate referral partner commissions and ensure timely and accurate payments based on established agreements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Understanding of accounting principles, financial compliance, and a knowledge of GAAP

  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with the commissions team

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities and tight deadlines

  • Ability to adapt and thrive in an environment of high growth and continual change by taking initiative

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, determine, and implement appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems

  • Proficient to advanced level of competency with Microsoft Excel

  • Strong knowledge of systems and automation

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience with sales commissions

  • Previous Xactly Incent experience

Location:

This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office presence required at our US MN Minneapolis Office.

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.

The annual salary range for this role is: $58,900.00 - $88,400.00 USD Annual. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
