About the Role:

We are looking for an adaptable, high-energyFacilities &MaintenanceManager to serve as the "nerve center" of our pharmacy fulfillment center in Harlem. You will be responsible for facilities maintenance, warehouse logistics, and site security. You are someone who can fix a gas valve in the morning, manage a high-volume shipping pickup in the afternoon, and follow up with a vendor about a recurring PLC error by end-of-day. This role requires a "proactive fixer" mentalityyou don't just see a problem; you own the solution from start to finish.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform a wide range of facility maintenance and on site repairs, from general handyman tasks like fixing hardware and replacing ceiling tiles to more involved MEP projects involving water supply and line voltage.

  • Manage security and act as the primary administrator for building systems, including badge levels and troubleshooting entry-point hardware.

  • Provide plant automation support and act as the onsite technical liaison for pharmacy systems, managing our spare parts inventory and vendor support tickets.

  • Lead logistics and receiving for monthly national shipping and all inbound freight, ensuring the loading dock and warehouse are staged for maximum flow.

  • Assist supply chain team in ordering non-inventory items like packaging, PPE, and other regular pharmacy supply

  • Coordinate and manage onsite vendor relationships and service schedules for waste management, water delivery, FedEx logistics, cleaning services, and landlord communications to ensure seamless building operations.

  • Drive organizational standards by implementing and sustaining 5S lean practices across the warehouse and office to eliminate clutter and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in facility management, warehouse operations, or a specialized trade.

  • Proficiency in mechanical or electrical repair and facility software for access control and shipping.

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain active in a multi-floor facility.

  • Strong organizational skills with a jack-of-all-trades mentality.

  • Ability to participate in an emergency call tree for after-hours security or system alerts.
