Onsite Print Specialist
Location: Vancouver, BC
Job Type:Full Time, Hourly, Permanent
Work Schedule: M-F; 7:30AM-4:00PM
Pay Range: $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

SUMMARY
An exciting and dynamic print service role working independently within a professional office
environment to support, process and maintain orders for reprographic services; bindery and wrapping for delivery. Use of various print equipment/machinery to produce and finish jobs to exact customer standards. In between orders, the work area needs to be kept clean with other tasks to assist with around the office. Must have a Whatever it Takes attitude while at the same time producing and delivering the highest quality product.
The Onsite Print Specialist will be responsible for the following:

In between orders, the work area needs to be kept clean with other tasks to assist with around the office. The Onsite Print Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Provide all reproduction services including large format black and white and color, small format black and white and color, plotting and bindery.
- Understand and respond to clients printing requests and work orders.
- Coordinate with ARC Divisions for jobs to be produced off-site when volumes dictate out-of-house production.
- In-house post-production, including trimming, binding, and finishing. Any non-standard finishing requirements will be sent to the local ARC division or partner for fulfillment.
- Follow daily, established maintenance processes and procedures; maintain routine upkeep of equipment including cleaning glass and surfaces, clearing paper jams, replenishing toner, and loading paper and minor maintenance as required.
- Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customers. Troubleshoot printing concerns and engage additional ARC resources as necessary.
- Assist end-users in functionality of equipment to optimize use of print devices.
- Collect meter usage information if requested.
- Inbound and outbound mail and package processing and coordination of all external mail services including standard mail, Fed-Ex, UPS, couriers, etc.
- Supply management and ordering / maintaining adequate supplies for all mailroom equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in a print production environment.
- Computer experience (Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Fiery)
- Ability to understand and communicate job-related information clearly and concisely.
- Must be able to work within a professional office environment and display reliability and punctuality while completing all assigned tasks on time.
