Operations Associate (Kids Team) at Christ Community Chapel – Hudson, Ohio

Position Description: The Operations Associate for Kids will play a vital role in creating excellent experiences for children and families by managing key logistical and communication areas of the ministry. This role supports the vision of Kids Ministry by ensuring that weekly programming, events, and communication run smoothly, so our team can focus on shepherding, teaching, and equipping. This is a full-time position and reports to the Kids & Students Director.

• Coordinate logistics for Kids Ministry events, special weekends, and seasonal programs.
• Handle planning, scheduling, set-up, and tear-down to ensure smooth execution.
• Partner with staff and volunteers to deliver excellent family experiences.
• Oversee weekly preparation of materials and supplies for Kids classrooms.
• Support volunteer scheduling, communication, and classroom readiness.
• Ensure a consistent and welcoming Sunday experience for kids and families.
• Manage Kids Ministry social media with engaging, family-focused content.
• Create and send parent communication (emails, newsletters, updates).
• Help families stay connected and informed about what’s happening in Kids.
• Support ministry-wide promotional campaigns and initiatives.
• Lead Kids Ministry involvement in outreach and service opportunities through partnership with Communications Team.
• Collaborate with the CCC Communications Team to keep messaging consistent and clear.
• Create, support, and sustain a strong volunteer culture as needed and assigned by the Kids & Students Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kids & Students Director.

• Be in an authentic and growing personal relationship with Jesus.
• Experience in ministry leadership, event planning, volunteer coordination, or operations preferred.
• A heart for seeing Kids know and follow Jesus, with the ability to lead both peers and volunteers with humility and vision.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and communication tools.
