Position: Automotive service technician

Bannister Cadillac Kelowna (a division of the Bannister Automotive Group) is looking for qualified automotive service technicians to join their service team.
Tasks
Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
Inspect motor in operation
Review work orders
Road test motor vehicles
Test automotive systems and components
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service
Test and adjust units to specifications
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Education: Trades certificate or diploma
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Hours: 40 hours per week
Work location: 2727 Hwy 97 North, Kelowna, BC, V1X 4J8.
Wage: $36.00 to $45.00 per hour.
