Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiation Oncology

Specialized Cancer Care. Meaningful Patient Relationships.

As a Radiation Oncology RN at Froedtert South, you'll provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to patients receiving cancer treatment. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients and families while supporting them through treatment, managing symptoms, and coordinating care.

This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise with patient education, care coordination, and compassionate support in a specialized oncology environment.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to established policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and families about treatment, medications, symptoms, and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with radiation oncology providers and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Help coordinate follow-up care and ensure continuity throughout the patient's treatment journey.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout their cancer care experience.

What We're Looking For

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current RN license or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology experience preferred, as applicable.

Pay & Benefits

$34.00–$53.50 per hour (Pay is based on experience.)
