NEXT Supply is the new generation of supplier in wholesale Plumbing and Hydronics – setting superior standards in service, product availability and delivery. NEXT has strategically located local warehouses across and beyond the GTA, each with a full quantity of inventory and strong, strategic delivery capabilities.
Role Overview:The Outside Sales Representative serves as the primary external point of contact for our customers, focusing on identifying and developing sales opportunities. This role is responsible for fostering strong relationships, managing customer accounts, and acting as a bridge between customers and our organization.

What You Will Do:Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Conduct daily customer interactions, including calls and face-to-face meetings.Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers.Educate customers on product offerings and how they provide financial and professional benefits.Promote and sell company products and services.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to better understand customer needs.Provide ongoing support to customers by addressing inquiries, assisting with orders, and offering product recommendations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with customers to support both their immediate and long-term needs.Direct sourcing requests to the appropriate internal departments, including Inside Sales, Bid Specification, Project Management, and Heating.Support customers by handling order entry, product sourcing, and follow-ups.Review daily reports to verify pricing accuracy before order billing.Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to resolve credit issues and pricing discrepancies.
- Engage with vendors to coordinate product training sessions for customers.Source products and negotiate pricing as required.
What We Require:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales role.Strong knowledge of plumbing and hydronic supplies.Exceptional customer service skills.Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple orders and tasks.Effective communication and presentation skills.Self-motivated and results-driven.Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to respond quickly to customer requests and think strategically.High sense of urgency and a strong work ethic.Ability to work under pressure and develop logical solutions to customer and internal challenges.Proven ability to build long-lasting relationships.Active listening skills.
